How is your RTO going?
I hear that all offices are packed and do not have enough space, not enough conference rooms, etc…. Certainly the case in Dallas and Atlanta!
I do go 3 times a week, but just badge in and go home right away.
Been trying to organize a badge-in service, but looks like all people are a bunch of pu----s…

Sure. The real problem with that is that it costs money that IBM does not have and certainly does not want to spend. So, this is just fantasy!
IBM could easily install tracking software remotely on all laptops that tracks your work location and IP address. Alot of companies use https://www.activtrak.com/

@z6 You are 100% correct. The measurement and only measurement is that you use your badge at the Site. Even if your Site has badge readers to exit the Site this would not be captured in the process - they just capture that you used your badge on that day (it does not matter how many times you use your badge. Management receive reports covering employees who have not used their badge on 3 days of the week. This was all explained to me by Security.
You are just another id--t spreading lies... There is no badge out at the Atlanta office for sure. There is no requirement for me to get an IP address while at the office, I could be there to get my coffee only and have meetings with people. They are still getting my badge in 3 times a week. Explain to me how exactly IBM is going to track my time in the office? CCTV, face recognition... Do you really think IBM would go that effort and spend the money? No, they will lay you off for no reasons. Grow up!
Don't be fools. IBM monitors everything you do. Badge in, badge out, wi-fi, random full screen captures, even how often and how long you go to the john (that's the pe---e poopoo area for you gen Zers). You're all just data. And IBM fu--ing hates you.

RTO while closing and downsizing offices is by design. They want it to be inconvenient because they want you to quit. The end goal is a minimal number of employees in the US.

Had to laugh… my first 3 lines of management are bi--hing that it is he-l for them to go to the office 3 days a week, in an office that is way too small, not enough conference rooms. Lol!

The few id--ts that commented about 1) badge out and 2) WiFi tracking are totally wrong. There is nothing like that. By the way once your computer or your phone is connected to the IBM network, you get a 24 hours lease for that IP. If you think IBM is tracking how many bytes you download/upload on your WiFi connection to see how much work you do you are fools. Anyway, you could be at the IBM office for meetings only without having the need to use your computer!

Confirming badging in/out times are tracked and reported to managers along with the employee's IP address. So the company knows the amount of time you are onsite and using the company wifi.
@cd yes can confirm they check wifi connection as well. When did IBM become an authoritarian prison? Checking badges and wifi feels like over ki-l for big blue

All the talk from Alvind and his sc--wed up Indian workforce about AI, Quantum, Security, cloud etc. is a load of BS going nowhere. IBM moved from the white collar workforce model to the blue collar workforce model. The executives are perpetuating the illusion about IBM quality products. The mumbling id1ot at top keeps parroting big words like AI, Quantum computing ....
IBM current workforce does not possess the intellectual power to be contributing in any sort in the current advances in the technology. IBM is being led by a capable of Indian thieves, the herd of sheep follow.
@OP ha ha, I heard of one person popping into the Site as they were passing and badging in just before midnight and then after midnight - 2 days at the Site recorded :)
