You guys complaining about no raise should be thankful you weren't let go in Jan. It's a terrible time to be looking for a new position.

Yeah- chatter on this board has definitely gone down. One's perspective changes when 6 million people file for unemployment.
Many companies are suspending company match to 401K plans. This covid-19 is historical and shaking our economy to near collapse. There are over 6 million people unemployed. If your company is staying open and paying you a decent salary, I would stay put and quiet. I pray that this global threat can find an end and that most of us survive. Life is priceless!
For those of you that are not aware, Many Companies are actually implementing Mandatory Salary adjustments (decreases up to 10%)

I’m going to stay positive! No way will I let my concentration get deflected. No way I’m doing that. We’re just hitting some minor bumps on the road, things are improving. The LT has a plan. They got to have a plan. I knew binford, he didn’t say it outright to me but hinted he was leaving behind a plan, so you got to figure the new LT is working off that. It’s like George Lucas leaving behind ideas for Disney to use when he sold the Star Wars franchise. That kind of thing happens all the time in business! All it takes is focus right now!
I was going to go off but then I came to the realization that it does not matter, nothing will change the company is citcleing the drain nothing can be done, mgnt could carless what we say or do. I will not visit this site again because I honestly don't care anymore. It's a mess and worse then you can imagine. Goodbye farewell so long!
Just waiting for the other shoe to drop about the 401k . How about the c level says no more bonuses no more retention bonus .... Make a real "We are all in this together we are a team" statement.

No merit increase or no job - I know which one I’d choose! Inflation is already down, so it will be less of a hit than the same scenario in a buoyant economy.
Focus your efforts on supporting the business, negativity isn’t going to change anything. Let’s hope we get a merit increase next year!

Gee thanks for bringing us up and then stomping on us less than 24hrs later. They should be ashamed of themselves. How cowardly to blame the pandemic instead of communicating with your employees a month or 2 ago when it was relevant. Grow up. YOUR HEROES are mature enough to know that merit increases aren’t feasible with our sales figures.

So everyone is snowed under at the moment with work load always having to work late and get told no merit increase, so basically thanks for the hard work he’s the middle finger.
