Some people’s jobs require them to handle the products in which they support. My apartment was not the company storage facility. I was more than glad to come to the office vs in my space
but I know many of my peers do not agree whose hands are also required to be on a product. The building is necessary. Selling and staring over again would nit have been a smart move.

I was trying to figure out why Canon USA, chose not to sell the Melville building for millions of dollars. But they instead chose to layoff hundreds of people. They could’ve had everyone work remote, which most people want anyway, and sell that building. They would have made more money that way. But now I realize the amount of their greed. They kept that building and laid off hundreds of employees so they could get tax breaks by having that building.
