Gf has never been world class, industry leading or even marginally successful. Nor will it be.
It’s not an emotional response to point out that the people who ran IBM into the ground are the same people running GF into the ground.
Nobody has answered the question, if you're so unhappy here why don't you quit? Just bitter immature responses. Again, if you hate GF so much, why are you still here?
I guess I’d ask myself what is surviving? Being miserable and fearful of the next layoff? Having your raises pushed out to Q3? Doing same amount of work with less people? Knowing GF is not well positioned to deal with the coming semiconductor downturn? Knowing GF is not tooled or ramped for the next node tech? I mean yeah you’re getting a paycheck for the next few months until you’re back on here trying to read the tea leaves for the next wave. My advice is start looking now..
“I ran ibm into the ground with my cr---y 80s mentality, and I’ll do it again with GF!”
Why don't all you whiners just quit? If you survived this week you're lucky, but here you are whining away. Take your expertise somewhere else. Sh-t or get off the pot. Leave, save the rest of us who want to be here from your cr-p.
Oh sweet baby Jesus don't say the U word. The paid Mckenzie people will show up. My poor wittle heart can't take it.
Yeah I'm waiting for the cliffs notes of this meeting. Better come together as oneGF despite the "sacrifice" everyone has to make. And by that I mean unionize
You mean the “Global,” walk-out during?
