It's not that mysterious. STIP has seen some ebb and flow, but it's never been insubstantial. Even in the leanest years it was better than most companies offer.

I'm not sure if depending on a mysterious stip amount for your future earnings is a wise idea.
If STIP is what is important best to apply for Supervisor or Manager position. There’s more to employee engagement than STIP.
Apply for a unionized position then for more money. I think i would miss my hefty STIP if did that.

Sounds like someone pretending to have inside knowledge. The intent is to make anyone who works in this group who may be reading feel concerned about their future. The opening statement leads me to believe that this is a union member writing this. Sounds like typical union fear mongering tactics.
