I know we all fill out the telldell survey, but management can interpret the results however they like. Statistics can be manipulated. How is your motivation level at work?

Waste of time. Nothing comes of it. Have meetings about what to do to improve but this year tell Dell for me is going to be the same if not slightly worse than last year as there’s no improvement.
I'm motivated to keep my job. Thats it. 12/14 hr days and no recognition financially or otherwise, so why be motivated about selling laptops?
The severance package is lousy.
Look, realistically at the moment nearly all of us are not getting paid as much as we used to and have been given huge paycuts due to the impossible targetting system.
That's ok, I can live with that if they let me just do my job, keep my customers happy and learn/grow /bring them on the hourney
Where the motivation goes is all the extra c-ap being loaded on to "keep busy" in COVID. Endless VC's, decks, workshops tha have no outcome, VC, VC, VC, form. Thats demoralising.
I bet alot of people are motivated or else they get sent back to their home country.

Peter Gibbons: The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.
Bob Porter: Don't... don't care?
Peter Gibbons: It's a problem of motivation, all right? Now if I work my a– off and Initech ships a few extra units, I don't see another dime; so where's the motivation? And here's something else, Bob: I have eight different bosses right now.
Bob Slydell: I beg your pardon?
Peter Gibbons: Eight bosses.
Bob Slydell: Eight?
Peter Gibbons: Eight, Bob. So that means that when I make a mistake, I have eight different people coming by to tell me about it. That's my only real motivation is not to be hassled; that, and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Bob, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get fired.
They are paying us to work, that's the motivation. If you want to not work, join a welfare queue.
@TSRboy - You said nice severance. Honestly, Dell severance is lowest standard among the other companies of same size. Even companies like cisco offers atleast 3-4 months severance. But Dell, just 2 months.
I am all pumped up and ready to move mountains for Dell! I feel great that I work in such amazing company and with such amazing culture and talent!
How cliche that sounds.
Taking it a day at a time. Doing my job. If you think someone will take care of you here, you are mistaken.
If you want to be let go with a nice severance package. Be COMPLETELY honest. Doesn't matter how many times you use the #iworkforDell hashtag, you will be canned at the drop of a hat. Personal experience.
I think some Dell HR folks are posting all these positive remarks.
Dell is not going to have any layoffs in future now. Never.
I'm still quite motivated. It's a rocky time, for sure, but I'm invested in my career at Dell and want to continue to do good work.
