Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

AZ about to get the bulk of the ISP?

I see the news from CA and OR with the numbers and they don’t add up to the estimates at all. They can bypass the AZ WARN stuff if they are paying out. Is chandler and ocotillo about to get a good chunk of the remaining ~5000 ISP?

correction to the @1xas+1v1EomGH post... low cost geos... don't want to take a digital flogging for a typo.

The Q3 earnings report will be out in 2 weeks. It contains the headcount data as of the close of the quarter. Compare it to the number of employees at the end of Q2 which was 116.5k) if the new number reported is under 100k they are probably done with this pass. Of course, they have probably been hiring in lost cost geos to replace the expensive US employees. Even so this will be a good data point since these are the numbers being officially reported with their SEC filings.

There was a huge number of folks who took early retirement and tok VSP. If they get close to reaching their target the number if ISP wont be that big.
