Hire to Fire is alive at F
@2dhw Here's a dirty little secret..... when managers know that cuts are coming they will sometimes hire a candidate and that candidate will be the first one fired to make the managers cut quota. "Look at me boss, I made my staffing cuts without any complaints.... can I have a raise for being a company guy?"
Guys I have a job offer from Ford coming in January should I care to take it or am I going to get cut within months of signing it.

Every Ford employee is at 1 and the company itself is at 0.
“ The company's future transformation depends on Model e success.”
This is exactly why many of us don’t believe that the company has a future.
Name one success that has come from Model e.
You can’t.
Model e employees should all be at 10. If not, then you are doing something wrong. The company's future transformation depends on Model e success.
My safety level is 11... 1 for the first quarter of 2023, and 1 for the second quarter of 2023. I don't think I'll be at FMC afterward.
If you are good just quit and move to a better company in 2023. You will not regret the decision. Take care.
10… I left ford earlier this year…. Best move ever!
@zsy All those people who got canned in Aug used to think in the same way.
- We are now down to the 2 of us and my co-worker only knows 1/2 of what I do. If they let me go, they'd be SOL. There would be breach of contracts within 30 days.
