Annual Bonus Payout After Recent Layoffs?

For those of us who were recently impacted by the layoffs, does anyone have clarity on whether we should expect to receive our annual bonus next month?

I remember my manager mentioning that bonuses would be paid out sometime in March, but I’m not sure how that applies to employees who were laid off before the payout date.

@OP I wonder how many people are ready to quit as soon as they get their bonus paycheck?

@119 ,
The Company portion on my compensation statement only shows 103% (not 120%-130%). But still it shows the company is performing over it's goals. I was told the bonuses would be paid end of Feb but I do not see it in my direct deposit 2/27 with regular pay. Compensation increase change for me in the USA was 1%.

It's funny how they ask you to give them 110% effort, you wind up working 60+ hours a week just to keep up on the minimum requirements of your work, you wind up having to do the additional responsibilities of your co-workers who were recently laid off because no one is left to do it, and they don't even give you a pay increase to match the cost of living increase which nationally is around 2.8% in 2026.

The picture is here is clear, the rich get richer for doing less, and the poor get poorer for working harder.

@cm looks like it's March 13. Company portion within US is somewhere around 120-130%

You'll get a percentage of your bonus based-on the last month you were officially employed (for many this was a later date than your last working day).
October: 83% (10 of 12 months)
November: 91% (11 of 12 months)
December: 100%

Cheers!

It's always been in the first two weeks of March, I would guess it would be March 10th. Being laid off before the payout date I don't think has any affect
