Post here when you hear of recent resignations.
Just heard a director of eng in the cloud program is leaving. His entire org must feel vulnerable.
The disaster is now in full force. Hearing the last product mgr of Citrix cloud (CC) is now moved on to greener pastures according to LinkedIn
Engineers still leaving as well as they try to promote people to stay.
The strategic program call Citrix cloud is on life support bc I can’t imagine anyone wanting to be a part of that disaster
A Strong Director from workspace left as well. Lulz. Apart form the fish, it looks like they locked majority of VPs in place with golden handcuffs. It's hard to find a new role on this level, but there are still solid VPs here. People that are able to find a new job quickly for sure. Why would they stay unless blackmailed with their PRSUs?
Fish boy’s goodbye note on LinkedIn was lame. Anyone else see it?
Hearing more engineers, TPMs and low level managers have just left. Sr Dir of CC Eng is one week from leaving, CVAD taking on more water on those teams.
What a mess. Mgmt sees no reason to panic bc they are guaranteed a life boat on this sinking ship.
The signs are all there that everyone should be leaving. I mean everyone!
I’m glad they fired me (DH) bc my life boat is stocked with goodies
I wish fish mo--n SAFe travels... see what I did there?
Think the “fish” dude was the guy pushing for everyone to be a security black belt. Lots of push back on that decision
Yea this “fish” never impressed me. Never understood him going from a tpm director to the uce vp. Citrites put this guy on a pedestal but he achieved nothing meaningful in his time. His name was spoken as some “mythical figure” but never moved the needle. Hope he’s going to tibco 😂
@24prf+1e4oXSTx Losing this fish is a huge gain for the company. He's a bullsitter of the worst kind and knows nothing about cloud. Two years ago he was very proud to announce on Linkedin he finally learned something when he did the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, which basically certifies you of being able to start an EC2 instance. Huge achievement for a VP of Cloud Ops!
Latest news, the VP of UCE (sounds like a fish) is on his way out. Anyone else here any more big names?
First sign of trouble is losing your TPM. They know all
I thought JK told us that CC is part of the global strategy. WTH?!
CC got whacked in Nov 2021 and lost 15%. Attrition never stopped, reqs never filled except for internal transfers
My vantage point is that CC got screwed, hands were tied and CC Sr Director said - “enough’s enough, I’m outta here!”
Hope Greece teams and remote teams get the work being abandoned but they too must be leaving. Even the CC tpm(s) are gone. Also the PM is down to a single product mgr. WTH?!
CC is heading for exit both due to their own mismanagement and change in corporate direction. People are leaving that team en masse. DaaS will continue on major cloud providers
Looks like the potential new owners wouldn’t approve the rsu’s.
I hope the ELT can’t walk down the street without being heckled. Their behavior requires this kind of response from the peasants
Once again the lies from the ELT and DK specifically have destroyed any desire to stay. Not only did they not do ANYTHING for retention they did the opposite. They cut equity for everyone. Either no equity or 1/3rd grant under the guise that they will do “something” different in the future. Another carrot dangling to string you along. What a joke. The longer you stay the less you get. Of course everyone is leaving this month or will start the process to leave because everyone else has.
Hearing the Eng attrition is nearing 30% and I know whole teams are being decimated with attrition.
DK - where you at with all of your empty promises? Too busy planning what to do with your $3M in payouts?
I guess the DK retention talks are paying dividends
April 1st is here, rsu’s vested and people leaving in droves. Major attrition happening right now. To make a few:
With this level of mgmt being left in the dark, they are bailing ship. ELT seem to be keeping them in the dark so they are saying - I’m done with you
After watching the ELT it’s becoming more obvious that this is all a “planned destruction” of Citrix. Companies normally have a number of “levers” and knobs to turn to help with attrition in times of trouble and tumult. ELT have used only promotions to try to keep people around. No rsu’s, bonuses are one time events that dissipate once they are given. No long term incentives.
Citrix is toast in terms of keeping people around.
One VP left today in EMEA, resigned. So the erosion is continuing and fast.
Hearing more fallout is happening all over the place (cvad, cloud). Wonder how the new cloud PM Director who just joined, is dealing with losing 80% of his team. Not sustainable nor is the ELT doing a damn thing about it. Tells you they are ok with the attrition.
If that’s not “the writing on the wall” I don’t know what is
Crazy the number of goodbye notes on LinkedIn from experienced Citrites sonar this month. Just wait until the end of the month when majority of the rsus vest... pass the popcorn
@1woop+1e4oXSTx promotions we just the normal process as usual. Promos were long overdue for individuals as always. Retention will be equity and or something else. It’s getting too late though as everyone is leaving after this vesting cycle.
I think anyone targeted for retention was promoted. Lot of promotion announcements on Linkedin.
A retention package after a layoff? Never heard or seen that in my career.
Retention package after a leverage buyout? That’s the only scenario that makes sense.
But from what I hear about the cloud team, is it time to send the sustaining of this entire program to India? No future strategic direction, no product mgmt left, engineers jumping ship, they’re screwed.
If they were going to do a retention package that would have been done in November.
Is MT following his ciso buddy again?
How does a PM/Eng org lose 3 directors (1 in PM, 2 in Eng), a mgr, 15% of its eng staff from layoff, 10% from attrition and the top 4 product managers and still be effective at what they do? That’s what I’m hearing is happening in the cloud org.
That’s unreal attrition right there! How does the rest of the remaining team get up in the morning to work?
Only thing to save that is DK’s retention package that she’s talked about and has never delivered
I heard a director named MT is leaving after wiping all his direct reports with his leadership qualities. He is a perfect example of bad leadership and everyone working under him were resigned. He could be another SB who talks rubbish from books or blogs which he learned recently.
The resignations are still continuing. Seems like lots of product managers have had enough. Heading PMs leaving from all sites. Strategy is still not known? Product mangers are leaving by the bus loads.
Just saw a VP from Citrix sending out a glowing praise of Citrix but is now moving on
When will this madness stop?
The HR exit interview team is hiring. They are severely understaffed.
Think I saw 3 “I’m outta here” emails just this week. Then I saw 2 “glowing reviews of Citrix but I’m leaving”posts.
Sh--s getting real. Rsu’s are vesting and people are jumping ship.
Never seen anything like this with zero mgmt concern.
Looks like PI13 was the last one with any real capability, in PI14 would be all new hires. In my part of the Cloud, we get daily emails for people leaving, non stop since early December.
More exits coming in the cloud area:
A PM, engineer(s) and TPM on their way out. Down to a skeleton crew over there. Combining squads bc a squad of 1 is not a squad. Pulling in engineers from failing squads to stop the bleeding.
Hearing that morale no longer exists. Is PI14 the last increment before SAFe is finally halted?
Heard of two engineers leaving cloud, a TPM leaving and many are looking and interviewing.
Seems like there is zero energy around the teams until JK gives out his strategic direction.
Logged back into work for the first time in a few weeks. Seeing a steady stream of org-wide emails saying they are leaving. Then see another email from the eng leader DH stating someone (AGo) leaving for the west coast from the Raleigh area.
Expect more of this until morale improves and look for greater numbers once bonuses are given
Anyone seeing other large impacts?
The Citrix cloud team can’t afford any more losses. They should lock in the team or else expect more of the same. Ship seems to be sinking over there. Report back when resignations become a reality. Mgmt needs to wake up.
Heard a few more senior cloud development engineers are leaving tomorrow.
Just heard from a friend that 3 engineers are quitting over in the cloud team. People see the writing on the wall and this team can’t lose anymore bc it’s core to the direction of cvad.
Donna, show us how you resolve the attrition issue without just telling nice stories.
Just heard another senior employee from security put their notice in.
Lets hope MJs team doesn't get moved under MT considering all the bad decisions made in security leadership because I would quit.
