Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

What the heck is going on with the TDC share price ?

The TDC share price has almost doubled in a week, it is now reaching $ 50. What the heck is going on ? Has it turned out that Teradata has a fantastic management and leadership team ? Was TDC just too undervalued in comparison with Snowflake ? There's a new share price target, according to one analyst in Barron's: $ 70.

Approx. 12-14 hedge companies, either directly or as representatives, actively and aggressively shorting TDC. These shadow co's or a mix, from the MW region are involved in aggressive shorting; this stock and others in the news....suppressing stockholder value, retirements and people's incomes....but they will tell you "their needed"...

Dip in the market this week but it has held up strong. The potential is huge on the stock price as it is naturally the market leader.

No folks, the short interests are coming due and forcing buys on higher prices. TDC is a mess on the inside and customers are running; you all know that.

As a former employee it's great to see the SP move back towards greater heights and I'm happy for my former colleagues who are there and have stock. You can feel the excitement in their eyes again after a few lean years. But they've come through it, kicking goals and it is showing for them. Good to see them have their mojo back.

The posts regarding “stock price” is just the Marketing team doing ME’s bidding. No one, not real Analysts or Customers, would come to a site like this for stock updates or announcements.

Obviously the stock is going up because it is undervalued. Looking at who is buying and the big funds are grabbing a slice of the pie. If they are doing it then obviously they are onto something and they will push up the SP alone. It's not the day traders doing it. I say let it ride up. We're all making money on this

The stock is up because we had a great year, companies see the value of our solutions and we have a solid strategy. I am so excited about 2021 and all the things we can do to help our customers. Negative Nellie’s why don’t you move on to something more satisfying than trying to rain 🌧 on the great news. The future is very bright at Teradata.

@2mzh+19k7ICQz - thanks Mr Love for your input. Who knew that you also work at an analyst firm!?!? You must be super busy with two jobs.

Why would any analyst from an investment firm come to this single thread out of all of the other companies here on this site and trumpet the greatness of the once mighty TD? This is clearly a TD executive. Good try though

At the analyst firm I work at, we are still bullish on the fundamentals of TDC and evaluate the stock in the range of $85-$100. Yes there will be dips, but overall it is still undervalued.

Looks like smart investors finally went back to the fundamentals rather the c-sino they have been partaking in with snowflake. It's obvious that the smart money is piling into Teradata as it's the new darling of the cloud market.

@1wnu+19k7ICQz come on and drink the Kool aid! It's not like our revenue, stock value and customer base had been shrinking for at least 10 years has it?!?! It's not been layoff after layoff, failed product, broken customer promises, failed cloud migrations and a continuous moving of jobs out of the United States has it???

Oh yeah, i guess it has. On a good note, the new Tijuana office is growing like gangbusters!

If there's such positive growth, why did the CEO dump major stock not too long ago?

Are the reddit folks playing with this stock too? I assume Q1 results will shatter this rally.
