Expats are staying where needed for business. Our affiliate has been told we are off the radar for these cutbacks, only if some of the older expats want the voluntary layoff. Otherwise, business as usual
I suggest to fire all US expats who are currently in the other countries. Coming from the Upstream, I have only seen worthless greed as the main driving force behind people seeking such assignments.
While we are making such unpopular cuts on a popular demand, please don't forget to fire all outside expats who are currently in the US as well.
