Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Ghosted by Manager

My manager stopped showing up to work months ago. The worst part, beyond our team having to pick up the slack, is that his manager hasn't even noticed. It's depressing.

Probably saw the writing on the wall and got an early jump on that next job. Smart manager.

@1wks+1kO2Et6B, I am pretty exhausted after playing golf all day so sleep is not a problem.

I loved my manager, I only worked 1-hr a day and they didn't care.

Really... so this has gone on for months and neither you or anyone on your team has bothered to escalate this to your managers manager, HR, or anyone else? If this is true, they should fire you and everybody on your team. It is your responsibility to call out significant problems when they arise. Again, if this is true, it is no wonder Intel has execution problems with slugs in the workforce.

Sounds like BS. The company isn’t that poorly run.
