Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

When are raises “typically” given out?

I’m new to CommScope and would like to know when annual raises are typically given... A direct answer would appreciated. If these are issued at the end of the year or at another time during the year?

For reference, my previous employers usually give out raises in December. I don’t think this is the case with CommScope.

You think you're getting a raise? That's laughable. Chuck and the executive team only care about themselves. It's been that way since he came on.

I’ll get a piece of that. Whatever it takes. Knee pads, ball massage, whatever it is.

Our CEO Chuck took home a huge raise this year, so sorry that won’t leave much for you….

It depends on the BU.

For ANS, CCS, OWN, NICS the pay rises are effective in July, notified in June. Usually in the 2-3% ball park depending on country.

@1bol+1vDvKy31 you said it.the bonus we got didn't even keep up with inflation.
Noting to do with own performance, so is actually totally demotivating.
There has to be employees struggling between cost of gas when forced into offices ( in some cases no reasoning when can work remotely ) and paying childcare costs on top of it etc. convinced it's another method to persuade employees to jump ship and no payoff

There was a raise but it didn’t keep with inflation (2.7% raise) last year but no bonus.
The year before there was no raise and no 401k

Is not about your performance, is about…. Treating employees like cr-p, despite their performance.

I like using my knees pads so I always get raises.

@1vzc+1vDvKy31 uh there was a raise this year… lol. Can’t speak on people with performance issues… OP this isn’t the best place to get reliable information or even a straight answer as you can see. I hear what you are asking for. Depending on your BU it varies, you’d get your raise around April/May.

Last year… this year there are no raises.

Otherwise, chucky cheese, won’t make the numbers…

@OP+1vDvKy31 sorry but are you actually having a laugh or being very very naive?

There might be bonuses in March but these are meagre in some divisions lately.plus you only started ,so say you won't even qualify for another 15 mths ( if your not laid off by then)
