Cool. Got rid of Sears Hometown in Spearfish. Theres a huge WM in that town, not surprised.

@1vyd+1a2uEtRm The liquidator is SB360. Look at their website. Your story seems to Check out, because they mention that they open new stores as well as perform liquidations. However, they will not be opening any new Sears Kmarts LOL:

I think that is the last standing Grand after the one in Thornton began liquidating
Rancho Cucamonga is closing according to the job postings board. I think that’s a new one.
Interestingly enough. The liquidator at my Kmart told us to save certain parts of the Kmart register (specificity the tiny customer view screen that is most often at the service desk and jewelry counter). He said some parts are really hard to get ahold of and he had orders to send certain things to Guam and USVI. I found that really interesting. Also he said his company doesn’t just close stores, they are also contracted to open new stores. He was involved in opening a few Kmart’s in the 90s and several Lowe’s stores in 2010.
Its non-stop not none stop. Also all stores will NOT be closed by 2022. Guam Kmart, maybe a few USVI ones, and also a few franchised Sears Hometowns will remain, as well as Sears.com.
Yes I was informed this is not a, close, pause , and close some more store situation any more.
This is a closing that is now none stop. Which means that as liquidating stores close down more are added until all are gone . All will be closed by February 2022
Yes, I was just informed two Kmarts in the eastern US will be announced next week.
