It is very easy for the younger workers of age 40yr to leave and find a new job
But for older workers age 50 and above it is extremely hard to find another job
paying the same salary.

Many companies refuse to hire older workers, so that is why some older workers take the abuse and stay with the company. Others who have left found new jobs sadly paying 30% to 40% less.

At this point if you’re still working at State Street and complaining it’s your own fault. All the good people (like me) are long gone. Stop feeling woe is me and get out and find another job. It isn’t hard and you’ll be a lot happier with a little effort.

Just another reminder: Do not be loyal to the company.

While you are working long hours sitting alone in office, and sacrificing your personal life to bring in or save the company millions each year; they are working on a plan to replace you with Indian workers.

If you are a VP or AVP, start looking for external jobs if you been stuck in your level for awhile. No amount of effort will get you a raise more than 1% or a promotion.

Congratulations on your tenure with a company that does not care about you. Good luck on your future endeavors!

Oh and no more promotions. Let that one sink in. They want us to do more more more for no chance of a promotion. Oh I can apply for another internal job at a higher level. That’s more fair and transparent. Oh ok. if I’m going to go through the stress of applying for and interviewing for a higher paying, higher level position it’ll be with better companies who value me. Just being transparent.

True… wonder if this accurate layoff information came from GHR:)… weird work environment, old fashion culture pretending to be doing the new technology the old way and don’t want to change…

Lol why are you posting such a smart common sense post . I totally agree 100% and have said the say thing for years. Why would a company more certain operations to
a country which has been fighting with Pakistan and vice versa for over 25+ years.

But then again the Board of Directors and major stockholders only care about saving money and increasing profits.

I have worked with people from our Asia and European offices and found them highly skilled people who know what they are doing.

Sadly found the workers in India are totally useless have now skills to do their job correctly.

Is today a holiday? What would happen if war broke out between India and Pakistan? Thanks for your service and come back again maybe the bonus and raise will go up once you leave and comeback.

That is why they keep a few U.S workers to FIX ALL THE MISTAKES being down by the
incompetent Indian staff.

The poor U.S worker doing double and sometimes triple workloads with no big increase in pay.

I remember when the work was done by the U.S staff the work was 99.99% correct.

That's a great idea! Send all jobs to India. The local Indians there can handle the workload by doing everything incorrectly but marking them as done. They'll slack off the remaining of their day looking for new jobs across the street.
Imagine Ron O' Hanley having to export American workers into India to fix mistakes.

This is funny; they want people to send May Day signals by doing the layoffs on May 1st.
