Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

No capacity

We lost 5 more in D2 last week! All over Points and no capacity. There are no Mondays or Fridays available until April 2019! 2019!! Only a handful of Tuesdays and Wednesdays are available now. Those 5 who left, leave behind a large inventory that will get divided up among those of us still here. We already have an unmanageable work load, an unrealistic metric to fulfill, unrelenting phone calls from angry customers, and huddles telling us we have to do more. We're worn out and pushed to our limit! And, we can't even take a Friday or Monday off for a much needed long weekend. God forbid we should take a "sick" day! Points add up quickly, and with Atlanta traffic, notorious for congestion, accidents and road work, those delays count against us too!!! It doesn't take long to add up to the 20 points max we're given. There is no relief. None!!! MT has created an inhumane, unforgiving sweatshop.

Only a foolish man beats his oxen down with a rod to get them to work harder. It only breaks their spirit. If this was the point MT, you've succeeded. This is about the ONLY thing you've been successful at since they put you in charge.

I feel like kdg is a troll that attacks each post, calling each of us trolls or complainers. Perhaps this person is here to spy and report back or dissuade people from taking action by attempting to make others feel as if your points are invalid. THERE ARE TOO MANY OF US SUFFERING AND FEELING THE SAME WAY. OP I agree, these conditions are horrible and definitely not the family company that they would like their policyholders to believe that they are. They are lying about trying to provide remarkable service. They are trying to be cheap.

They are pushing to much this is getting out of hand. Something going to have to give, or we are going to loose a lot of people.

See the above OP is what we have to endure to be a SF employee. One has to ask themselves is it worth it??? So State Farm do you enjoy stressing your employees out like this, what kind of claim handling and decisions do you expect to get from such stressed out employees? Do you enjoying torturing your employees like this? You know the information you glean when you torture someone should not be trusted as credible, so what do you think you glean from employees when you torture us? You think we are really going to be giving you our best? We will you give exactly what WE want you to have, nothing more.

Whose bright idea was the point system anyway? Seems the point system is biting you in the butt State Farm...you know what they say about Karma right?...she's a B@@@@ and she bites back.lol

Maybe someone who is no longer employed will contact the media and do an interview where they are in a dark shadow that hides their face and their voice is disguised. This would probably cause more harm than good but it’s something that would be interesting to watch.

Someone should organize a company wide walk out day to stand up for these people! The point system has to go. PTO is there for a reason, to be used when you need it, not when the company needs it. Tuesday 5/15 walk out day! Spread the word!
