Perhaps I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the leadership does not know where this company is going, nor does it have any serious plan for its future.

The culture of denial has ki---d the business, along with the shocking levels of debt. I’d suggest anyone who wants more than five years get out now.
To the previous post, sad but true….
It didn’t have to be that way. CS was once a great place to work and I honestly thought I would retire there. I had been through many acquisitions with other employers and unfortunately CS did not take the same approach by allowing their culture to infect and change the CS culture. There is a reason, Andrew, BNS and Arris were acquired. Now it’s time for CS to be broken up and sold off to the highest bidder so Carlyle can walk away with a good ROI.
It has been shown that very few companies survive more than 50 years. Commscope is on the edge of that right now. The heavy debt will start to sink this ship slowly at first as it is now, then will accelerate like the Titanic. Stock market is already taking notice. I would get out while you can because at some point there will not be enough money left to pay out severances.
Funny how they bank everything on 5G. They are not the mkt player they once were. Like everything technology changes, and 5G I’m the traditional sense is not the future…
https://ast-science.com/spacemobile/ Is the future, with satellites in place and more being launched. The business relationships are in place with the major carriers.
CS is dying a slow death. They create nothing, and have always tried to purchase mkt share and mkt entry.
Get your stuff together and move on. The air is much better on the outside.
Love that hr spin the usual PR out of desperation. must be reading the townhall PowerPoints and copying and pasting!!
How about addressing the well being of the employees and the issues they keep raising.
As all "human" issues remain ignored day in ..day out
@1vjo+1hCq890O, how is a company supposed to have a future if they never introduce new products?
Dear HR @ Commscope ….
If you haven’t figured out already, we don’t need your opinion here. All you are doing is keep digging your own grave.
People in here are not being untruthful, just stop making yourself look d-mb, sinces yet…. You keep asserting the complains of the unhappy folks that work for this rather unusual company that has lost the trust of it`s employees
@1vjo+1hCq890O management handling of the on again, off again HN spinoff has been pitiful! Since the acquisition of Arris, management has given the impression that they did not carry out a through DD, that they do not understand what they've bought, and what to do with the business. They've made no attempt to turn HN around. Instead, they've labelled HN as a problem child and blame the division for COMM's current financial predicament at every opportunity with their Core COMM favored status, and designated HN as the mill stone around their necks. Chuck doesn't appear to understand wireless and is only focusing on fibre. The primary reason why we have not seen further aggressive layoffs recently is because there would not be anyone left in Comm whose expertise stretch beyond creating colorful Powerpoint charts! If the current macroeconomic worsen, Chuck will not hesitate to make further layoffs. After all, employees are the company's most valuable asset!!
If its all going so well, why were bonuses and cost of living raises so bad. Do you honestly think next year they will make up the difference? They can go on about ebita and free cash flow all they like but it makes no difference. There have been few layoffs because of the number of people leaving of their own accord.
On the contrary, I would argue that all the recent insider stock purchases shows me that they are very optimistic about the future. They seem to know that the future lies in 5G and wireless. They know that these supply chain headwinds will pass and the company will get back on track. Cash flow is good enough to service the debt and I feel that Chuck and company have done an outstanding job at minimizing layoffs. Let's continue to put in investments in broadband internet and wireless technologies where the future continues to lie. I think holding on HN and not spinning them or selling them will actually be a blessing in disguise, we'll see.
