Thread regarding VMware layoffs

We need to react ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

We have been treated with disrespect and I’m not sure why we don’t protest or strike… come in unity and challenge executives to do what they were paid ALOT to do which is lead not be puppets. We need to pressure them to step the F up. They are hiding and worse asking us to even provide Q4 insights. Is this a joke ? Jerking us around? Letters out without full approval and out of ego and cockiness, then asking people to do training even without offers then pulling the integration material out of the Portal… we are looking for portal Cues and SEC website updates to get insight how PATHETIC is that??? I’m dying to know what the he-l they are going to do if this deals falls through. I’m sure they will “thank us for being resilient and patient”. This company is a sinking ship it’s the fu--ing titanic now we fighting for safety boats …except execs thought they already got on one… surprise mother fu---r there is a hole in the boat

VMware really cultivated a bunch of sensitive flowers, all the wokeness and mindfulness days melted some people's brains. What did you expect, Hock would come and hold your hand personally through the process? Do your job, have patience, either way sooner or later you either get a well paying job or a big severance check. You're not the only one to have gone through an acquisition, I don't remember anyone feeling so entitled back when we went through this kind of sheet show... How do you deal with real life if this experience breaks you so ?!

Why you just don’t leave if you think there are so many better options than just wait and see?

It’s Shirkday Thursday!

Enjoy the limbo, get paid to complain and come up with plans to burn the witches in the C-suite.

Just BAU.

Oh yea, shareholders don’t give a cr-p about you. You might have a better experience talking to a wall.

If the deal falls through, expect more dancing on the stage at all hands and even more virtue signaling than usual
