Just received my notice this morning! At last, done with this cr-p chapter in my life! The stress and micro mismanagement is so not worth it! Done with working at a place run by a complete narcissist! Im sure Wayne is wearing his high heels, drinking his 6 pack of bud light, while patting himself on the back!

The only people that should be getting let go are Wayne the all powerful, narcissistic, thieving douche bag, every executive brought on board by Wayne, Extra Chromosome Stuart, and Under the Radar Josue, and the entire board of directors. You shouldn’t be rewarded for su-king.
The entire P&C change team ( 4 people??) were given 60 day notices today, last day is 9/18. They were in the PMO/Mod organization on the PMO side. There may have been others but those were the only ones they mentioned today.....

It's a sad day when you feel that a 60-day notice outweighs the stress of staying on at USAA. When the layoffs first started last year, I was extremely nervous and scared to be on a list. After feeling the stress of what's left after each round and what will be once they are done with the many rounds of notices, I'm at peace with it if it were to come my way.
Anyone in this situation, I hope you find a great place to land. I'm jelly ⭐️
My stress level is zero since being laid off. Do I need a job? Yes, but I’ve taken a few months to detox from the stress WP was causing myself and the wonderful people I was blessed to work with each day. I’ve had an opportunity to reset, and I am in a much better frame of mind to look for work that brings me joy and an environment that better aligns with my core values.

I am jealous!!! Hope that's not too annoying of me to say, but for a lot of us it would be an end to the torture and a way out with a little bit of cash to stay afloat for a while.

Congratulations! My last day @ USAA was Friday after getting my 60 day notice on May 16. Those 60 days were filled with many emotions, but relief and hope and healing were the most dominant. Lean into it all, including the grief that will come, and connect with others who have been down this path. Take advantage of all of the career transition benefits USAA offers and go manifest your new destiny!
