Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

High time to leave!

Anyone who is marketable at all should leave because the air is getting very thick here. I finally got an offer. I've been looking for it for a long time because I'm not very marketable due to my age.

What is fascinating to me is that young people who have skills and who have many options, are waiting for this company to show them the door?

Signing over was never a choice. You either signed and continued working or you would eventually be let go.

I’d rather be a d-mb high school dropout making 45 than a smart indoctrinated in debt college graduated with a job that will never pay his college tuition you will have nothing and be happy good luck with that

I'm pretty sure if I left this place or even got walked out the last thing I would be doing is posting on the layoff. Not to be rude but who cares if you got a better job. Did you get it for the layoff or your family? I want to see everyone that works hard get rewarded. But seriously posting about doomsday really get a life. We all know there's a good possibility of losing our jobs. Who the f&$# are you to tell me if I'm making the right decision? Got your new job now move on. Forget old Cablevision and miserable Altice.

No the reason they not leaving is the money and they are not paying no way near what they are getting, but I understand your way of thinking you will have nothing and be happy stay blessed and good luck with your mindset.

Yo these guys are scared little girls. They're not leaving even though they know eventually they'll have no job. You have to remember that most of these guys only have a high school diploma. It's unfortunate, because they can all be on they're way to a better career. It has to suck working every day like this. I make more now than I did with optimum and I have zero stress. Man do I love seeing this company crumble. Good luck to you guys.

Can’t discriminate on age you just struggled cause you have no skill set. You probably were slinging boxes for 20yrs.
