Thread regarding Commscope Inc. layoffs

What's does the future hold for commscope?

  1. So stock price still falling.
  2. They spent $40 million in casa acquisition
  3. at same time still laying off employees.
  4. Still blaming pandemic and holding too much inventory.
  5. can't get head around the fact laid off so many IT employees with years of knowledge especially after the 2023 incident.

Makes no sense, surely another breach and CS will truly be up the creek!!

Don't believe a word from the mouths of any of the slt.spoofing at every company meeting.
What is to become of commscope?

I can only sympathize for you. That company was totally different just 10 years ago. It's unfortunate that so many hard-working people that have been there for so long have been left behind been short-changed and they don't give a s*** about anybody but their own profit

Yep great management they overshot the bid by millions. They could have bought the company for half that price. Somebody got paid off on that deal make no mistake. They don't give a s*** about you

Why would any new starter seek a job in this company which treats its employees so poorly? Never ever worked in a place so toxic and manipulative towards staff. There is no changing the culture unless they start clearing out the top decks .

Over the years, we've lost a significant amount of great talent due to the stupid layoff strategy by Chuck and his team!!

The 2023 layoff affected some of CS's best employees which led to a loss of confidence among the remaining employees. Then many began leaving on their own… Why stay when you're just treated as a number? Those who that are still around are either still looking for work or just waiting out for the severance package.

Even now, CS struggles to attract good talent because nobody wants to join a sinking ship. Our stock prices are ridiculously low and embarrassing, quite honestly.

It’s angers me whenever I see Chuck and his team giving themselves raises when the company stock prices is representation of their performance. We went from $20 to $1. Like what the f Chuck!

We are done.

1 out of 10 employees, cares…

2 out of 10 do work

1 individual per team, has technical knowledge

Slt thinks sending work to India is cheap, but teams in India have absolutely no competence.

You can say that again. This is a text book "how not to run a business" or "how to run a business into the ground".

The best outcome would be for a capital investment firm like Banyan or a similar group to come in and buy the company and see off the parts. If that does happen at least the workers still have a chance to end up with a decent company.

This too shall go the way of Yahoo, meaningful assets divested and the unprofitable ones written off. This will be a case study in many a business classes on what not to do as a private equity.
