Gingers reign of te---r continues as she continues to ruin Friday's for every single employee in the company. Guess she’s gotta earn her $825k salary for the month. Fireside chat was a total joke - right out of the gate asking a personal question about how Tim met his wife. Who cares!!!!! Mind your own business lady! Let’s talk about how this company has crushed the morale of every single support office employee and store personnel!!!! Let’s have a fireside chat about where they are coming up with the excessive salaries and bonuses for the c suite yet you can’t even give a merit increase to the grunt workers or a bonus. Let’s chat about how year after year you give a pi-s poor merit increase that doesn’t even cover the cost of living plus the extra costs year over year for open enrollment. Let’s chat about how most employees are making less money now than years ago because you have continued to sc--w is time after time. It’s now 11/5 - “return to the office demanded by fire engine redhead is supposed to be 11/28 and it’s been crickets on that topic. Where are you coming up with 1500 extra work spaces for people? Are you re opening the child care center on campus?? Parking??? Shuttles???? Again completely tone deaf. Not interested in the books Tim reads, or what he does in his spare time, or how he met his wife. Completely irrelevant to the business. Way to continue to pi-s people off! Maybe read a book about treating people how you want to be treated. How about a book about greed and the excessive salaries, bonuses, and stock options we saw posted on other threads. Shame on all of you executives!

I figure most of our c-suite executives are so far removed from the front lines that they believe/hope many of us are drinking the Kool-aid and if we aren't, we need a paycheck and will put up with whatever they shove down our throats anyway.
Tim needs to show up on campus and mingle with the minions. What he has to do is not pleasant, but he still has to demonstrate he is human. A milk and cookies staged conversation does cut it.
The fact that anyone would actively seek this video out is absolutely asinine. The fact that someone/ group of people at corporate wants employees to register for that app that has nothing but info for Walgreens employees shows how much these people kiss their own as--s. That video even though I haven’t seen it is these two people st-----g their own egos and trying to make employees think they are just like them. No one at the store level will ever make as much as those two a-s clowns make currently in a year but keep on trying to relate to the working class. WE ALL FU--ING HATE HOW THIS COMPANY TREATS US. If you understand that then maybe address that you two a-s clowns.
At a time when morale is at, or near, an all-time low, employees want to hear about how leadership proposes to “right the ship” and quickly instead of bizarre softball/cream puff questions to the new CIO.
I don’t care about his personal life and only want to know how he’s going to impact mine and my direct reports.
I found the fireside chat truly inspiring! All the important topics were covered. Walgreens is such a an amazing company that's its not the least bit surprising Mr. Wentworth would leave a comfortable retirement and jump at the chance to board the Titanic.
