Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Legg org

What are the 4 hubs for the Legg organization? Are they laying off prior to the moves? Are they allowing existing hires to stay in their locations?

No, San Ramon is NOT a hub, as it'll be closing, and new location for remaining is TBD

They mentioned on the call San Ramon would remain a hub. Guess I’ll find out when letters come out if they’ll still try and send me to Dallas. MFers!

There will only be one hub location when the music stops. Get to Dallas if you’re wanting to retain your job.

So in Wave 1 only 50% accepted having to move to their designated location. For Wave 2, they expect around the same number (50% accepts, 50% declines) so there's no need to lay people off.. they will self-identify and will leave the company.
There will be exceptions for specific employees, but that will be a rare exception like for those people that provide local-area support or those involved in some critical project that can't be disrupted. Majority of staff should expect to be asked to move to a hub location.

Only definite hub is Dallas. Everywhere else is just short term.

Seattle, NJ, Dallas, Atlanta

Legg mentioned move letters going to people already located in those hub cities so it doesn't appear anyone is outside of the cross hairs.
