Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Oh By the Way

At first this mess was supposed to be completed by the end of the current month March, but at the last second, Fraser slipped in oh by the way it's actually through 2026. Why? Because Fraser is in no position to pay out severance in lump sum amount. They're using 2026 as a mind-F in the hopes that people will quit on their own, thus, less severance to pay out. Wow, what a businesswoman she is.

You mean two additional months or just the regular 60 days. Severance doesn’t get paid until the 60 days of warn period are done. So you had to wait 120 days post layoff or 60?

Absolutely correct! It took me two months to get my severance after multiple back and forth emails. Citi is having a big money problem!

Trim the fat at the top. There's still plenty of savings to be had at the senior and middle management level. Most of them just pretend to be busy and important anyway. They're all full of cr-p!

By the way, are there any DEI folks left in HR still? There's an instant cost savings! Show all every last one of them the door! Make sure the door hits them on the way out too!
