Any rumors on what bonus payout will look like ? I’m over due for a promotion but it looks like this year will be another year of waiting.

@1vp I genuinely did not get an email stating anything about bonus.Just searched for it since I've been on PTO for 3 weeks so it may have piled up but no such email.
@ce LOL! Do you think promotions in ANY organization are automatic or given solely on performance in the individual’s current role? I worked for the federal government, worked for a global consulting organization, a global oilfield services company and a major oil and gas company. I NEVER just got a promotion for my good looks - I mean simply based on performance in my current role.
Instead I had to present a case to show why a promotion was warranted and the need for the higher level role; or why I would be the best candidate for an open role. Yes, some who are the boss’ favorite do get unilateral promotions but most/all my promotions were because I went beyond the role and the higher level role was a benefit to the organization.
Maybe you will get paid in Oxy stock instead of cash.
Either some of these posts are from trolls or they REALLY do not pay attention to the multitude of emails sent when information was conveyed with timelines for everything.
They announced bonus payouts for March 12 it’s amazing how few of you read the org announcements. Most people find out their bonuses this week.
Last year we got paid (bonus) on the 1st Wednesday in March. Is this going to happen in 2026? It's eerily quiet....
@1tn+1khvbas7p - Have a little patience. If we don't know during March you might be right, but I would be surprised if there was not any bonus for the past year 2025.
Guessing there's no bonuses this year? I hope you get your promotion at least .
It’s not what you do but who you know. Having a benefactor pays dividends.
Yeah, that doesn't work. Oxy is horrible about giving promotions, except for a few. There are people on my team that have done well at their jobs for almost a decade and have not moved up.

Have you planted the idea of a promotion with your supervisor’s boss or the functional leaders? Ask lots of questions about what you can do to be promoted. Then deliver value and you should be promoted.
