They'll go out of their way to protect the company, but they don't give a damn about you. The only thing that you'll achieve if you go to HR for help with a verbally abusive manager is to put a target on your own back. If you're at the bottom of the totem pole, you're considered to be the problem. Learn from my mistakes.

Oh that's how it's always been no matter what company you go to. I've reported clear violations and they're not doing anything about except protect themselves, the company, and friends even though they clearly violated code of ethics. Best bet is to lawyer up. This company is a joke.
Funny that some id--t references RNC. If you are referring to the political party you are dead wrong. The most of the C-suite gathered to cry and whine when HRC lost in 2016. They are all elitist and don’t follow they same rules.
I have a friend that left IT as the only woman in the group. She dealt with constant inappropriate comments and HR didn’t care.

I left the lame RNC wannabe flailing company and can assure you that the management harassment at CommScope is not the norm. Find another job but continue to collect a paycheck at CommScope until they lay you off and get severance!
HR only support manager. Cultural speaking some countries are used to yelling at employees and forcing them to work around the clock. When they come to America, they like to hire people they can yell at and abuse, as they have learned from their management. Luckily for them in America HR always takes side of managers who abuse. It's endemic in America HR unfortunately and a recipe for the problem. But nobody can say anything to their management.
Who cares? Stop sniveling.
