You are nothing but a disposable cog in the wheel and you're treated as such. If you're expecting to grow your career here or build a network that could be helpful to you in the future, think again. The only thing this place will do for you is teach you how unimportant you and your well-being are to the company.

@1thg+1fR6WS4x Publishing field managers are the best. A true place for talentless and lazy people to hide.
Time almost always catches up with them but not before they do some serious damage.
When I worked there I wanted to switch jobs, my boss asked me why I thought I would be qualified for the new position, I told her my years of experience and I held a Master's Degree. She asked me, what is a Master's Degree? I was like oh no, how come I didn't see this incompetence before?
Managers can pretend to be friendly and all about how to help your "advance your career" (what a joke) at the company but in reality they just want you to work your a-s off for pathetic pay and they take credit for anything good you do. If you are unlucky enough to get promoted, enjoy your below average 2% raise and triple the work load. Just wait until you give your notice and the "friendly" demeanor changes.

The worst part is that your superiors are not that bright for an education company and they treat you terribly. I just had that moment where I realized the terrible mistake I made when I agreed to work here. The reason most cling to that hope of staying here or even advancing is that they have no where else to go. They have been Cengaged as the business lingo goes.
