Facing Unjust Termination: A Struggle with Workplace Discrimination and Bias

My director expressed significant dissatisfaction with my work, resulting in a very negative mid-year review. She mentioned that based on feedback from another colleague, who claimed I do not support her work, there is no value in keeping me employed. My director even suggested that it would be a miracle if I remain employed past Thanksgiving. The colleague who provided the negative feedback is professionally jealous and discriminates against me, violating Title VII. She also turns my coworkers against me. Unfortunately, my director is a Facebook friend of this colleague, and it seems they have conspired to use the company layoff as an excuse to terminate my employment.

And it worked.

Just make sure you document everything. EVERYTHING It’s amazing what people put in writing

OP... definitely document everything, so you have a paper trail. People will deny everything they said and did. To have a good case means you need proof of your claims.

Start looking now for a new position! CVS is a behemoth and any lawsuit, etc, will cost you more time and money than you probably have. I have been on the receiving end of harassment and it su-ks, but difficult to get HR to do anything about. Unfortunately there are bullies out there that can be vicious and relentless.

Take care of you.

Stop encouraging complacency @1szn+1u44bpAZ this person needs to handle this with HR. You're basically asking them to just allow themselves to get fu---d and filling them with anxiety and doubt over some made up sh-t.

I hope it's clear OP this forum is primarily made up junk and conspiracies about the company, some of it is certainly warranted but you NEED to handle this in the way you can ASAP. Document it to your personal emails in case you need an employment lawyer in the future.

Save effort. The CVS Ethics line is window dressing. That won’t help. HR is a total disaster. This is a company entrenched in a retaliatory culture. As soon as you go through these steps, someone will consult with Jackson Lewis. Jackson Lewis will advise your tormentor as to how to get rid of you at the lowest cost. To be effective, be original. Find examples of fraud and criminality. They are all around you. The most effective evidence is evidence of False Claims. Defrauding Medicare and Medicaid is a win. There is one more barrier. You have a requirement of evidence by the preponderance of the evidence. They must prove by clear and convincing evidence. As soon as you give them a warning, they will manufacture a file. They recruit low level ignorant losers to write scathing letters about you. Good Luck. Be Original. Jackson Lewis are Evil Union Busters with an Enormous Bag of Tricks. Stay Healthy and Strong! May God Watch Over You!

Hey buddy! Please document everything and open a case with the ethics line while simultaneously reporting this to your HR business partner ASAP. I know people are hesitant to push against leadership but you have nothing to lose and the sooner you deal with it the better. Don't give them time to come up with fake dirt or try to disparage you first. If you feel your protected characteristics are a factor mention it, often people develop biases and will do anything but say it. Sounds like you also are getting dinged for someone saying that they are actually poor at their job and mad at you for not aiding their responsibilities they are failing at. Best of luck but now is not the time to be complacent or just hope things change.

@1dtt+1u44bpAZ This. Don't leave without dropping the truth about this cretin. There are many people that survive in this company purely based on MBAs from mail order degree colleges and an aggressive attitude

Can you counter the negative review comments with facts? If you have facts that you’re performing your job, you’ll be in good position to report them.

Is this happen in Aetna or CVS, or which department? What they are doing to you is not ethical. You should report this to EEOC, CVS Ethics Line, post on social media and expose their names.
