Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

This is not the worst place to work

It's not the best but it's certainly not the worst. Most importantly, it's a job in the middle of a pandemic. I can't understand how so many people can complain when we have some of the safest jobs at the time when so many are out of work. I'm not trying to be contrarian - just being honest.

Yes it's a job, (when so many people are out of work) and yes we should be grateful for that. That said, people should be entitled to basic decent humane working conditions, not treated like a slave or a mindless company robot. And sadly working retail in any capacity is horrible, because of how companies like Walgreens treat their employees. And no It's not the safest, when you think of the fact that a pharmacy is the first place a sick person goes.
