The thing that the company is in dire straits is that if I look at insider transactions of intel everyone is buying including the board of directors whereas it seems that even the board of directors are probably working in their own bubble as some of them are selling whereas others are keeping it and the fact CEO is selling is not a good sign while the layoffs are happening

@1qta What @1flh said. Since they're incorporated in the Cayman Islands they aren't required to report insider transactions to the SEC. It's not clear where the company that provides the data (Barchart Solutions) got this information. It seems real, I would just like to know where they got it so we can continue checking. I would also guess that it's incomplete because there's no way other executives haven't cashed out. They've been getting equity since 2016 or 2018 based on what the IPO documents said.

That was the earliest he could sell, but also Tom is retiring you all. Not sure when they will announce it.

Technically as a public company they need to release form3 form 4 data but I do not see GFS releasing that. Something fishy is going on. Needs to be asked at future global cast

Why wasn’t this asked about or even brought up during the globalcast?

Did these stocks of his just mature? If so is it still insider trading? It does look bad for his outlook but could just be he needs cash fast after his stocks maturing

Sold over $17 million before the public knew of layoffs. That's interesting timing I should say dear boy. No wonder Tommy C looked so sh---y in the meetings. Take his badge access security! Welcome to america lads and gals, hope you enjoy your stay

500M … 1/2 billion?! Do you have a reference to cite for this?

And if true that makes the record earnings report data + layoffs for cost saving way way worse. He should have used that money to reinvest and save people’s jobs…

What is the source of their data? I didn't think insiders weren't required to report because GF is incorporated in the Cayman Islands. Can't think of why they would divulge this voluntarily

I sold what i had last week. GF just made the NASDAQ 100. That should give a short term boost. I suggest you all book the profit from this boost and exit.

Real joke - record year followed by layoff

You can bet they done thing is fishy -

300mm-equivalent wafer shipments of 637,000 was a record for GF, an increase of 5% year-over-year. Our revenue grew 22% year-over-year, and we delivered record gross, operating, and net profits, making significant progress toward our long-term financial model. We remain on track to deliver a strong year of growth and profitability.”

And we are laying off these employees who made this happen ????

We should all sell soon. It is not going to go anywhere. As soon as TC is removed, new guy has no choice but accept the reality. That will crash the stock.
