Our entire group was gone including managers, 15 in Husky Calgary office. They keep doing field today.
I was a manager in IS (IT), heard there were 100 of us let go from IS yesterday.
How HR and IT are impacted in upstream or down stream ? Any number ?
I did not get a call yesterday ...
Is it going to continue today or we are done for the month ?

Our team was absolutely wiped out except for two individual contributors and a manager. Wow. I find it hard to believe it’s this bad on the Cenovus side too.
I don’t think we hit even close to the lay off numbers they need to get too. This company is going to be a horrible place to work for the next year with ongoing layoffs until they hit their numbers. Death by a thousand cuts.

Surprisingly, in SOI&E there were very few; I was expecting a lot more, maybe in the next wave.
Was axed based on who you knew in CVE, junior CVE counterpart got to keep his job despite less experience.

Just got the call. It was about 10 of our team I believe. It's off to Toronto next week for me to start a new career! Calgary is going to be a ghost town later this year.
