I’ve worked at an outlet since 2014. Before they started making smart watches, an upset Fossil employee was hard to find. Fossil lost so much money because the smart watches genuinely SUCK (just so so SO many warranty returns, it’s crazy). After the cr-p show began Fossil outsourced all of their stuff. Quality is terrible now (don’t get me started on the outlet products, you’ll never catch me buying any, TRASH), customer service is terrible (it and customer care have both yelled at, been rude to, and hung up on me more than once when I called from the store phone), benefits and employee discounts were not as good, and overall work life balance is non-existent. They can’t afford to hire people at a decent wage so they few (previously) die hard fan employees left are left running ragged. I used to love Fossil but honestly I don’t trust them to do the right thing anymore. Just all around bad vibes.

Watches and smartwatches are perfectly fine accessories for those who appreciate them, regardless of generation or age. And smartwatches don't ki-l companies; poor management does.
@1rts+1e8F7uwP that's just a plain silly and childlike response. A watch is an accessory... and while I'm no longer a big fan of this brand....age has absolutely NOTHING to do with an accessory. WOW people get some common sense and stop relying on your own silly thoughts! Next you'll be saying only old people wear boots.....gthoh! SMH!!
Not just Fossil but watches in general. Watches are like hard copy encyclopedias. If I need to know the time, I will just look at my cell phone, laptop, tablet, smart TV, etc. Also cumbersome on the wrist.
I know some baby boomers still wear watches but they are a dying breed.
If you are caught with a watch, people will look at you like you're old-schooled. Older people are reluctant to wear watches because it will emphasize their age.
