@1tx8 it is a mix between support positions, and hourly as well since volume are dropping and labor it is high

@1rsy what positions are being cut at the plants? HR, Operations?? I’m sure the hourly guys will be safe but I’m on the salary side and it’s been quiet.

I am in management and yes, many plants are planning to layoff employees first quarter of next year, why? low sales, even lower margins, GPI new strategy is to get new business at lost in order to get their foot in the door but that strategy is backfiring so bad, we are getting the cr-p that no one wants to run in order to build a relationship but su-ks for the plants, we are being held accountable for the cr-ppy work we are getting, we are being set up for failure that's why couple plant managers from converting facilities are just walking off their jobs.
