I'm always an R1 then i got dropped into R2 for no reason... and here come the layoff wave... they planned all this c-ap ahead of time and already picked the names.

Just an FYI... yes engineers can be located in India and also production lines can be sent to China (check out our finishing center in zhoushan). So we'd better stick together and help each other or there will just be the sound of wind through abandoned factories in the Puget Sound.

How many engineers does it take to change a light bulb?

Three—one to hold the light bulb and two to turn the ladder.

Wow. An educated engineer talks about someone “loosing” their job.
God help us.

I think I’ve been grieving this sh– for years and the anger and frustration. I think all the employees have this level of feelings too. They act out resentful as f— over pensions freezes after years of ripping off the company on OT and purposely slowing work down to push it off to the weekend for double time. They save the big OT for their buddy leads and all works just fine. The little iam mafia. These jobs deserve to leave to employees that will be grateful.

Little by little the cliches have grown. The management incompetence begats incompetence, as they promote those they like and kiss there asses.

Agree with previous post. No one is happy at the lazy B. Haven’t been for at least a good 5-7 years. It’s been a good run but too much sh– has gone down. I think we are all burned out and feel burned too!

Honestly, Boeing for losers who are afraid to learn and grow their careers. You have security & financial stability that comes with seniority. But, do you have job satisfaction and feel empowered at Boeing, NO!

Bring it on. Working for Boeing was the biggest mistake I made. Pay me to leave. I am all about it.

Well at least 15% in BCA, announced before the bond sale yesterday. Hearing numbers all the way to 50%. That cleans out all the SPEEA R3s and most of the R2s depending on how many VLO takers

I'll elaborate. All of you engineers aren't half as intelligent or half as important as you think you are! Good luck though.
