we have a state of emergency in the state and Jsoc still hasn't called for WFH for all. This is gonna be like July all over again.

@1wf is there no security benefit to knowing how many individuals are in the building ?!
JSUC is more concerned with forcing people to badge-out to the point where am alarm will sound if you don't (Lincoln campus for example). Obviously just a way to jack employees around without providing an actual security benefit. Definitely some old FD cruft that needs to be flushed down.
Why did they use the same acronyms of actual military orgs? Who do they provide security to, FB or the company? Now that he's gone, yes total waste of money. How were they unable to handle all the cybersecurity shortcomings? Why are they unable to identify actual critical infrastructure vulnerabilities and waste time and money on the whims of the super unqualified execs? Usually a security command would be handling all security matters, but they've shown almost every time that they are incapable of sending out a simple email or text through a service that most organizations have for emergencies.
@1r8 how are they a waste of money?
JSOC should be totally eliminates. Biggest waste of money i have seen in corporate North America
They were never looking out for associates to begin with. Necessary and warranted cuts.
Use your logic and follow the guidelines. Don’t rely on JSOC they su-ked anyway. HR needs to step up and send comms to leaders on what to do
@OP If TH was still in charge of GSI you would not have the need to post. It would have been handled.
Lyons fired 75% of the JSOC and told them to stop reporting or looking out for associate safety as he sees it as a “waste of money” to spend on internal vs client facing.
