I am about to accept an offer for Google cloud architect, should I accept? Or they may ki-l GCP in the near future?

Fundamentally, there will always be a market for cloud. Lots of businesses are happy to avoid capex, especially with today's interest rates.
There is no sign of Google cutting cloud. However individual teams are at risk for relocation.
@1qyv+1sjVlQFK Of course AWS is profitable. That's what keeps Amazon afloat. But people are realizing it's not difficult to setup bare metal servers and pay much less money.
GCP is one of the worst divisions at Google. It is a cook-pressure pan with you inside. I do not recommend it.
@vlv+1sjVlQFK no it is not... AWS and even (believe me) Oracle are profitable..
All cloud providers are at risk. There's a movement to move to bare metal servers because its cheaper. Or rent a server. Plenty of software to easily deploy, orchestrate, and monitor whatever you need.
You didn't say a region. If it's Poland or India, you're fine.
They will not pull the plug on gcp. It's self-sustained by now. They might however get rid of you at any point of time to "increase efficiency and focus on priorities"
After those layoffs there's no rules or safety. No matter you're coasting or working 996.
