I’ve bought every pixel since 2018. Reviews; pixel 3, innovative low light camera, but very sluggish, slow performance. Pixel 4 Pro: ok, a little slow, overpriced. Pixel 5: pretty good phone, one size fits all, overpriced for what you get. Pixel 6 Pro: garbage. Overheats. Video camera does not work when it overheats. Pixel 7 Pro: woah. Really good phone. Excellent camera. HDR. good value for the money.
Android is slow.
iOS is d-mbed down for boomers who don't mind getting new features 5 years after android has already perfected them
H1B’s invented Android.
@1qxi+1mW3yudC Android is overall better than iOS. From a developers perspective, Android is much better than iOS and follows modern development standards. From a usability perspective, it is good enough and should meet the needs of every user. However, iOS is more user friendly than Android, and that's what makes iPhones the best phones worldwide. This is a reflection of how Google and Apple function. Google is focused on creating a platform that is overall good, but Apple is focused on making its platform good for the majority of people who will actually buy their phones. As a result, we can see for ourselves how each company is doing financially.
The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are excellent phones at a very competitive price.
even if your complaints about android are accurate, its still objectively superior to iOS
The Pixel is an example of Google's incompetence beyond ads. Because of their brand, they have the potential to have the best selling Android phones, but instead they're at the bottom. Instead of improving sales, they make their own custom SOC, the Tensor, as if the processor was the problem. The Android UI seems like something engineers put together without input from designers. It's sounds like the Pixel is multiple launch promote abandon projects bundled into one package.
Google doesn't make "Pixie phone."
