Very wide range of tech at Q. With 7 to 12 years exp, you'd gain significant exposure with SOC based s/w (if on a right team). Huge advantage and can bypass the LC style interviews at faang should you choose at that point. Change teams/companies if you must - that's actually healthy for career growth, but do it on your own terms. Don't be naive and fall for bitter-ex-Q on this site that are trying to trick you into leaving Q no matter the cost! With 15-17 years at Q, don't settle less than ICT5 at fruit. Or join a team at Amazon more closely tied to devices and ensure your role and responsibilities are a step up from what they were at Q. And you'd be happy and not end up on this site bashing status collectors and everything Q LOl. Lastly, your experience largely depends on your team and direct management (at least in a large public company)
