  • If 737 Max Is Returned

More people will be duped into creating smoldering pits.
And yes, if called back, we will have a job, until the next Max Pit Stop.
Then we will sweep floors for six months, next out the door we go — again.

I was hired in 96, when McDonald's dug glus bought us out and immediately started destroying what took boeing a century to build. Remember the DC 10? They never recovered. The max? Boeing will never recover and is why they are looking to separate BDS and commercial so when the bankruptcy happens it will not tarnish the space and defense side. Boeing for the last 20 years has only wanted government contracts, it's what pays. If you honestly think we will get back to normal air travel after this BS corona virus thing is over, if ever bless your heart for your belief in unicorns p–ping rainbows hope. Aerospace as we knew it is over.

The threat of layoff was just a ploy to get local, state and national-level politicians to intervene on Boeing’s behalf. Now that the FAA is making strides to certify the MAX, all layoffs will be cancelled, we’ll be informed that COVID was a hoax, the kids will be back in school, and we’ll be producing 72 planes a month in short order. Oh, as an added bonus, everyone is going to 1st shift too.

Exclusive: Boeing kept FAA in the dark on key 737 MAX design changes

Boeing failed to submit certification documents to the FAA detailing changes
to a key flight control system faulted in two fatal crashes, a long-awaited government report seen by Reuters has found.

The flight control system, known as MCAS, was “not an area of emphasis”
because Boeing presented it to the FAA as a modification of the jet’s existing
speed trim system, with limited range and use, according to the report.

The 52-page report by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of
Inspector General (IG), dated June 29 and set to be made public Wednesday,
laid bare mistakes made by both Boeing and FAA in the development
and certification of Boeing’s top-selling deathtrap.

The FAA declined to comment beyond the department’s response attached
to the report. The IG did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
A Boeing spokesman said the company had taken steps to enhance safety
and was committed to transparency. “When the MAX returns to service,
it will be one of the most thoroughly scrutinized aircraft in history,
And we have full confidence in that we will not be caught again he said.

@qrr
Boeing will still manage to kłll children
Their toy airplanes will come apart causing a choking hazard
Many more children will die, while Boeing denies

OP — ASAP (As Stupїd As Pie)

Yep, all layoffs are cancelled. I can't believe you figured it out. It was supposed to be a secret at the 2nd level managers and above.

Don't believe me, ask your second level. Announcement will come out near the end of July. But keep it a secret.

Yeah very possible. They will get called back eventually as Boeing still the top plane maker.

Nope. Cancellations are stacking up left & right. What you’re seeing in media is Boeing PR to manipulate the stock. The Max won’t be cleared for awhile yet, if ever.
