Is Broadcom treating you guys well? or is it the same treatment of you are not one of us??

Predictions for 2024
Tanzu will likely reach its 21% margin goal since they fired so many people. The layoffs are far from done and there will be attrition.
ICs will just barely manage to keep the lights on with the bloated product mix.
Growing revenues by making products that customers want will be a big challenge and goals in this category won’t be met.
The 2,800 employee limit will then be set lower and lower until the golden ratio of employee to revenue target is met.
Small products in the Tanzu umbrella will be sold off to PE.
It will be a bumpy ride for those who chose to ride it out.
Given you are an outsider who know nothing about the target and the plan, you are just venting your sour grapes again. We get it, you hate Tanzu because someone hurt your feelings in the past, but please do us all a favour and go cry into a pillow instead of saying the same old thing on every thread that mentions Tanzu.
With unlimited funding Tanzu could not grow a base. Why? Incompetent leaders, leaders who still remain. Tanzu will not survive the new world order. Cloud Foundry which internally was heavily ridiculed and underfunded for 5 years non stop is still the number one source of revenue for Tanzu. Stop making it seem like there is a way out of this BU’s mess. Stupid is as stupid does and layoffs and dismantling will come next summer.

Tanzu is the riskiest BU to be in as they are already in red and still have the same incompetent people in charge.
Despite the dictator’s policies to move them towards profit, they won’t be able to meet the glorious leader’s expectations.
VMware chose to run Tanzu without profit as it was targeting growth in a competitive market by having a large GTM. This has been said many times on here and is how silicone valley works in growth markets, as there is always someone willing to sacrifice profit to grow faster that you and take your market share.
BC would never keep a division that is in the red with a plan they didn't validate and agree to. I'm not going to share insider knowledge on a public forum, but need to say that you are clearly an outsider with no knowledge of the state of Tanzu today, the targets or the plan.

I’d say that will happen in less than a year as our ultimate cult leader will see their incompetence in action very soon and no sacrifice at the altar of the almighty will spare them from their fate of being summarily dismissed with prejudice.
Life will move on swiftly without Tanzu and the odds and ends will be sold for scrap.
I am in Tanzu. I am cautiously optimistic that I will have job for one more year. After that it is anyone’s guess. I just want to stick one more year as I like my work and my team. Lot of new stuff to work on and I am liking the new growth and revenue based discussions. Most of my meetings are so different now. Now fluff and very focused on how to meet the revenue goals.
