Looks like HR came in and deleted a bunch of comments
Navid is no better. You’ve gotta hire TSMC VPs to get things straighten up. These rookies aren’t gonna cut it.
@1ozh
I know enough about her to know that her management style doesn't work. She hopes that problems get fixed by acting mad & name calling, and parroting what's going to happen but never has a workable plan on how to make it happen.
Intel will have one less dead weight problem
@iozh - no one is disputing that. If you are an outstanding engineer, be an outstanding engineer. Don't pretend that your "outstanding engineering" skills will automatically translate to running - arguably - the most consequential organization that Intel has pinned its hopes on. TD needs a ruthless manager that is able to cut age-old fat and inject a sense of urgency to execution. Ann was not that manager. Nor is her purported successor.
Anne was a great engineer and leader outside of the 1 week a month she wasn't able to do her job properly.
x86 ! No innovation to an even more definite No Innovation !
None of you really knows Ann if you’re thinking that way for her, yes she isn’t the best presenter, but she is an outstanding engineer who will understand the problem, listen to you, and provide whatever help you need to resolve it. I know her since her F24 fab manager years. You can always stop her in the corridor and have a chat regardless if you are a brand new tech or principal eng, she will pay equal attention to you.
Folks - it's not like her "long term succession plan" is any better. WTF experience does he have running a commercial fab? It looks like they needed to find a job for a soon-to-be-fired SVP from DCAI. It's musical-chairs with a bunch of clowns at the helm.
Will she dance on her way out with Pat hands in hands?
The same thing Ann did with Mike. Either you are not a human or too inexperience. It is called succession plan. Need to do something meaningful with your life Mr Nobodies
Nothing to celebrate about NS.
The sooner she actually retires, the sooner the recovery can begin.
This definitely calls for a celebration
@yef - that is just to save face. Odds are she'll be out by EOY. A quiet goodbye email just before the holidays.
No, not right way. But Pat did name her long term successor. Sounds like she’ll still be around for another year or so.
Is this true ?
