Everyone is so focused on modem. Does anyone not realize how many patents Qualcomm has in the iPhone? Don’t continue to look through such a narrow scope.

Problem is "Maverick" pays a lower rate based on foxconn transfer price. Losing Maverick modem business not a good thing period.
Qualcomm owns patents for any 6G technology and will be paid no matter who makes the hardware! People on here appear to be on dr-gs! QTL and all the lawyers are the real money makers for Qualcomm! Qualcomm is the best law firm in America and home to 3rd rate engineers

It doesn't matter if it was made with former QCOM engineers, they're at apple now.
If QCOM wanted to retain talent they should have paid more to keep them. Instead they're going H1B crazy and shipping everything to QIPL.
