List of 7 Kmarts:

7 Kmarts, List:

Surprise, surprise! Finally a Kmart closing. I have been sitting on the sidelines since about 1 Year, because there simply were no Kmart closings to document! It wasn't what I expected, but I'll take it!

There are 2 Kmarts in St. Croix, 1 with, and 1 without a pharmacy. The one WITH the pharmacy is closing, leaving only 2 pharmacies (1 in St. Thomas, 1 in Guam). Honestly, this closing made sense, as the 2 St. Croix Kmarts are about 8 miles apart. Actually, the 2 in St. Thomas are about 2 miles apart, so maybe be on the lookout there, in the future.

Long story short, we are now at 7 Kmarts total, 3 of which are in the mainland. I have changed my map to reflect this as well:

FLORIDA

  1. MIAMI

NEW JERSEY

  1. WESTWOOD

NEW YORK

  1. BRIDGEHAMPTON

TERRITORIES:

GUAM

  1. TAMUNING, GU -P

USVI

  1. ST. CROIX
  2. ST. THOMAS -P
  3. ST. THOMAS

Statistics: Kmart absent in 47 states. Now we have 3 states, FL, NJ, NY, with only 1 each. There are now zero states that have multiple Kmarts, although the territory of USVI has 3 (2 in St. Thomas, 1 in St. Croix). There are 3 Kmarts within the mainland United "States", total. Of those in the US mainland, zero, have a pharmacy.
Additionally, USVI has 3, Guam has 1, so there are 4 total stores outside of the U.S. mainland. There are 2 pharmacies in the territories, marked with letter "P" (1 in USVI, 1 in Guam). Total of 7 Kmarts left as of now that are not closed or closing.

P.S.: On my map, blue indicates a mainland store, green indicates a territorial store WITH a pharmacy, and red means without a pharmacy. You're welcome!

To the poster below this, I'm not sure what he's trying to Say. What is "two to park"? Also why are there so many periods in the middle of your sentences? It makes no sense. You keep breaking up sentences with periods.

Lastly, this list seems accurate, in terms of non-closing Kmarts. There are 7 locations left, of which there are 3 remaining, not closing, in USVI.

The only thing I will say is that. One of the Kmarts in Guam have a Little Caesars. And one of the Kmarts in Saint Thomas at two to park. Also has a Little Caesars. So you might want to reflect the map with those changes as well.

Go to https://sjobs.brassring.com/TGnewUI/Search/Home/Home?partnerid=455&siteid=185#keyWordSearch=warehouse&locationSearch= and type warehouse into the first form field

Aren't these Kmarts just sourcing products from overstock nowadays? If the website is any indicator, it must be like Big Lots picking up random containers from port where buyers broke their contracts (I bet a lot from BB&B nowadays). If you look at kmart.com, the largest category there is overstock, and you can't find Kmart brands at all. As of this writing there are literally 6 products sold by Kmart and Sears on the entire website, so if you want Aspercreme and a Frozen blanket, you're still good to go. Otherwise it's entirely third-party sellers from eBay. There probably aren't any stocked warehouses left on the mainland.

@1nrg+1mZL0n0Q They must be emptying out the last two or three warehouses of stuff they have to these stores. Give it another while and the last three stores in the mainland US will close.

I don't know where this map is, but when you're down to just 7 stores, a map isn't really needed anymore.

Thanks. It's amazing how (except for the 2 St. Thomas stores) far apart these all are! Even the NY/NJ stores, are 100 miles apart. What gives?
