the math is really goofy... Intel has 2x the revenue of AMD but 4x the headcount...
so, people should stop wondering if more cuts are coming for Intel... let the math speak for itself.
I would say that this shows AMD is a forward looking company and they are not comfortable with the future so they are preparing for it. Unlike Intel whose management has to be involved in an absolute train wreck before they take action.
The job market just got tighter since they won't be hiring. This will probably be followed by other tech companies as well.
