Thanks to the OP for posting the correct, intelligent list, straight from corporate. Everyone would rather see the correct list, with all the store numbers, instead of some poorly copied list full of mistakes! Brooklyn Kmart is VERIFIED by CORPORATE and here to stay!!

Can't have it both ways. Few posts below, someone wrote corporate has decided. Well then why is it not on "corporate's" Kmart website, but it IS on corporate's Sears website? Because it's a Sears not a Kmart.
When I go to a supermarket and buy Beer, at least in my state, they always make you pay at a separate checkout, that doesn't elevate the Li---r department to its own store. . Its only a Kmart department OF AN EXISTING SEARS STORE, not its own full line store by itself. Only 21 remaining Kmarts.
Corporates website is not a reliable source of information. How many times do they list stores still open well after they are closed?! Brooklyn not on the Kmart.com doesn't mean its not a Kmart.
Brooklyn IS a Kmart. Doesn't matter how BIG or how small, it is a Kmart. When Kmart had Kmart Foods next to Kmart they counted the Kmart Foods stores as separate stores so BAM! A Kmart surgically attached to a Sears, right there in Brooklyn.

Nope, it is 2 aisles of some food and HBA items hidden in 1 corner of the basement of a SEARS, without its own store manager. Calling a tiny 10,000 sq ft store a Kmart is like calling a bodega, a supermarket. Real stores also have separate entrances. Separate checkouts have nothing to do with anything.
