None of my colleagues are satisfied. However, those who really should see that ISM is a very bad idea, i.e. those at the top, do not see it that way. Maybe they will, but when it's too late?

As a former merchandiser who was pushed out to the floor i agree. They want us to do all this work and ringvand clean out fitting rooms. They brought me in today to do markdowns at 130 on a Sunday what did I do for the first hour I was there ring on the register. Its hard to do markdowns when the store is busy. It was markdowns in Last Act. The minute your over there people hover all over you. That was why we were there on Sundays at 6 am so that we could get things done BEFORE the customers came in. We had time to merchandise and do markdowns. Way to sc--w up a great system Geffy. Pat yourself on the back for that one, and don't forget to give yourself that nice Christmas bonus and figure out how many of us your laying off after inventory.
Reality is if they don't see it everything is fine! The fact is if our own people leaders and store managers don't speak about it then nothing will ever change. Macys is not the store they have everyone thinking it is. It is all a fake cover up.

They have NO clue what goes on in a store! They only visit stores announced so you have a month to ki-l yourself and work 12 hour days and bring in help from all the other stores around you to make this fake narrative that this is all working. Please, start showing up unannounced and see what reality is in these stores, walk stockrooms and back of house, we're over flowing in toys, clothes, coats, underwear. We are understaffed for the amount of work they expect us to do and GIVE US BACK A MERCHANDISING TEAM!
