Google and Amazon are laying off tens of thousands of workers these days

Be worried. Dell may be the next on the layoff queue in the new year..

This is nothing new. Enjoy the process, do not put much effort in and take the payout when it comes, you will find another role, unless you aren't skilled.

Remeber leadership wants you to resign without them paying out... imagine a senior director emailing the whole inside sales org the new graduates employment contracts and commenting on individuals who have been in the organisation for years on less salary. Is thay social engineering or accident?

So kick back and enjoy the show...

Dell is such a great company, but appears to have been overrun by a bunch of 🤡 who will hold back the organisizations growth to achieve side missions that further their own careers and that for their family and friends (or simply keep them employeed)..

Trust in yourselves, don't be bitter (like the brain dead chronies who keep posting about bitterness on this forum) and keep moving forward.

FYI, Dell is ALWAYS doing WFR. Couple pauses here and there, but has been going on continually in my 20yrs with the company.

right Google is laying off digital assistance people and are being replaced with AI tools. AI for digital is like what the VRU was for telephone.

The layoffs at Google are due to moving toward AI whatever that means. Remember what Mikey said about the cost of the cognitive power..

It's a wild guess. Some in here assume FEB cause that's what happened last year.

Keep in mind last year this forum was also predicting a MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JULY, AUG, SEPT, OCT, NOV layoff as well.

It's on the books for Feb 100% confirmed - not sure if your team is affected but there will be a WFR.
