Or maybe don’t count on a iconic phone to make or brake your month my goal every month is to be paid by the 15th and I usually am and I’m not at the top of the zero use list I do my job and shut my mouth and I’ll continue to do so... 90% of the people on this site have the same complaints about every job and everything in your life, it’s always someone else’s fault, where’s your trophy for just showing up?, this is life either figure out a way to make it work or look at the reason it doesn’t work and that’s an easy task everyday in the mirror ask yourself did you really earn anything or are you expecting it to be even and fair and just land in your lap? Wake up stupid your the issue not whatever company you want to blam #urnotVZW

I was the top rep in my store every year during my time with VZW and made multiple winners circles. No i don't blame any of my co workers i put the blame directly where it should be on the company.

VZW constantly punished its own employees for selling their products. Dont blame workers for trying to find ways to make money when the way VZW pays commission is bizzare in itself not to mention its always been VZWs MO to make quota hard to obtain which resulted in shady tactics used to generate sales. Again only VZW has themselves to blame for that one. Why not pay straight commission? Why the need to constantly play games with the com pay out? Company is still profitable and the top execs are still getting their share and then some so why the need to hurt the front line?

Its BS no matter how you look at it and its no ones fault but VZW

@2niw.....TRUTH!!!!! THIS IS THE VERIZON WAY!!! You cannot make money or hit your numbers by selling with integrity. Almost every manager I know was promoted because of a number, high arev, high phone sales, high hum sales, and 90% of these people are people that would screw over their grandma's to get promoted or make a buck. They are horrible managers because they don't know any real sales tactics or how to answer a simple question. We have reps doing false churn daily, they have been reported to management over and over, but nothing happens because that are making money for the managers and making their kpi's look better. The people that sell the right way get written up because our quotas cannot be met if you don't cheat the customer and the system.

I’ve actually seen reps get in trouble for upgrading a tab vs adding a line by managers. Most managers were promoted because they were “high performing reps” and that’s the sneaking c-ap they did to “succeed” and they expected their “team” to do as well.

As a rep if you sold with integrity and tried to not drew over the customer you were considered lazy, negative, and not a team player. And were usually targeted for termination.

Your commission changed to no longer include connected devices because you sales reps were cheating the system. When a customer wanted to upgrade their iPad you would add a new line and tell them to call to cancel the old line. Can you say commission fraud? Y'all should have been fired, but instead they took those devices out of your commission. Guess what? You are still doing this even though it does nothing for you. Perhaps if you want to see things change start being honest and earning your commission, stop lying to customers, stop selling them BS they don't need just to boost your commission and stop committing false churn so these types of changes to your commission don't continue to happen.

Best of luck to you, you sound like a hard worker and the company is lucky to have someone like you who seems to take pride in your work and has a high output. Unfortunately, that probably won't save you. Eventually everyone is going down as the locations close and sell out to indirects and WHEN it happens (not if, it's inevitable), I hope your fall from that high horse is broken by all your self-importance and indignation,because Big Red doesn't care about any of that. You seem to be hung up on the “some else’s fault” thing. Let’s say you are hired by a company to collect fish out of a pond. You are paid well, have a great fishing rod etc.. and the number of fish you are asked to catch is somewhat reasonable.

But, as the years progress there are less and less fish in the pond but you are told you have to catch more fish than you did in previous years. Also your employer took away your fishing pole and all you have is a string with a hook but no bait. And now you are getting paid less to catch more fish with less equipment. But you should be happy about it?

See it’s always someone else’s fault... your so right how silly I’ve been watching my coworkers sit in the back stand behind the counters and complain about exactly the same things everyone on here complains about while I take every custy possible and just shut up and do as I’m asked for my pay I have no degree and considered myself lucky to get this job. I guess taking pride in your work means your a “back in the day” kinda rep

I think you are more likely a Solution Manager that has been in that position for at least 10 years and are remembering how you use to do it as a super star rep “back in the day”.

News flash! The industry has changed dramatically while you have sat in the back the last 10 years doing absolutely nothing productive for the company.

Also, if by some great miracle you are a rep and you hit your goal by the 15th of every month. You are either blessed to be in a low quota store or you are a lying revenue replacement dirtbag.
