Not sure how this passed QA and got released. LOL

works fine on iphone. I was a beta tester and found a bug, reported it and they fixed it. Ask was to use as normal so doubt I touched everything. That being said, this is the Agile way, get it in prod fast and deal with issues later.

Aside from the slightly new look login page where they finally replaced that random woman now with a random man with a dog , what has changed. This is the hype I’ve been waiting for? True disgrace.
@tdw+1fAAQ41V there is more and more of this “fix forward” ridiculousness. It’s all to give management a running list of “accomplishments”.
App was deployed - pats on backs. 5 bugs were fixed, wild applause. We’re redesigning the UI, customer focus kudos.
All artificial because they pushed junk from the start, negatively impacting support, customers and the morale of the developers who are on a treadmill of half baked releases.
I have an iPhone. Fingerprint login works about half the time. The UI is no better or worse than it was. No doubt customers are thrilled.
Android apps will never have the consistency across all phones that iOS apps will. Period.
It’s the agile way! Lol
Since they got rid of QA, it most likely didn’t.
There is not a true go/no go decision. The decision is always “Go” and fix forward.
We produce 100% bug free code and apps. QA was not needed. 😀
There was an attempt...
QA got let go so that doesn’t happen anymore. Get used to buggy code and the bad rep you get.

I saw something similar on my pixel 6 pro in beta but it seems to be resolved in the live version. I assumed it was the cruddy fingerprint reader on the pixel. That's kind of the problem with Android - you have to support multiple vendors h/w and os versions like microsoft on PC's. Apple owns the h/w and s/w stack from end-to-end which makes it easier. I'm sure it will get sorted out soon - continuous delivery and all that good stuff.
It didn’t pass QA because there is no QA anymore.
On a S21+ Android 12
Issue 1: when i click on the app, it shows the biometric fingerprint screen. Then after 5 secs it refreshes and shows the fingerprint screen a second time
If i do the fingerprint scan the first time the screen is shown it logs me in but shows the fingerprint screen again. I have to scan again
If i wait for the 5 sec refresh to happen, and scan on the second showing then it is okay.
Issue 2: sporadically i get an error and it bo--s
OP HERE.
it is the Android App that is buggy.
The iPhone App may be okay. Nobody bothered to test the Android App. :(
I beta tested it for a month or so and now that it's live, I'm not seeing any issues (on Android 12 at least) - what bugs is OP referring to?
It’s because they got rid of QA and developers don’t know how to test.
Get used to a bad rep for buggy software.
Typical. They spend all of their time talking. There really isn't much doing. They are oblivious to producing a robust product. They are too busy feeding their egos trying to convince themselves how good they are.
Complaining for the sake of complaining…What snowflakes do best
Agile means UA test it in production.
It's because they spent 90% of the time getting the stupid CR approved...who has time to test?
Agile means release it full of bugs or unfinished, then patch, patch, patch!
Buggy? How so? Many team members were able to volunteer to test the app prior to release.
Works fine for me. Way better than the old app. Wells Fargo done good.
